The clinical journal of science in the health analyst study program is a scientific journal that discusses the competence of health analysts which includes the competencies of Microbiology, Hematology, Parasitology, Immunoserology, Toxicology, and Clinical Chemistry. The clinical journal of science will be published every six months, in one period each academic year will be published twice, namely in June and December. This clinical journal of science was created primarily to assist lecturers, practitioners and students in publishing their scientific work. http://jurnal.univrab.ac.id/index.php/klinikal/article/view/2385 <p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Carbon monoxide is one of the most important pollutants and has toxic properties if the gas is inhaled by humans. Levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and ALT enzymes become one of the biomarkers that affect liver damage. The ALT enzyme is a transferase enzyme that is released when the liver is damaged. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of long exposure to carbon monoxide (CO) on workshop workers on the examination of ALT levels. The research method used is an experimental method with a one-shot case study design on 27 respondents of workshop workers in the Jemur Wonosari area of ​​Surabaya. ALT levels were measured using a photometer and analysis of ALT levels was carried out using the One-way ANOVA statistical test using SPSS. The results showed the average ALT levels in group X1 (long working 1-5 years) of 38.26 u/l while the average result in group X2 (long working 6-10 years) was 40.38 u/l and average results in group X3 (long working 11-15 years old) is 41.11 u/l. One way ANOVA statistical test obtained a significance value of 0.484&gt; 0.05. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kadar glukosa darah plasma NaF yang langsung diperiksa tanpa penundaan dengan yang ditunda selama 4 jam. Hasil pemeriksaan rata-rata kadar glukosa darah plasma NaF yang langsung diperiksa tanpa penundaan, ditunda 1 jam, 2 jam, 3 jam dan 4 jam berturut-turut adalah adalah 85.76 mg/dl, 85.40 mg/dl (persentase penurunan 0.42%,), 84.96 mg/dl (persentase penurunan 0.93%), 85.16 mg/dl (persentase penurunan 0.70%), dan 85.36 mg/dl (persentase penurunan 0.47%). Blood fat examination are carried out using serum or plasma as a specimen. Serum or plasma was obtained by centrifuging the whole blood within 3000 rotation per minute of speed for 5-15 minutes. The centrifugation time is often reduced by some laboratory technicians to shorten the examination time. Blood samples that is Sentrifugasid at the wrong time will damage the lipoprotein in cholesterol.short time centrifugation will cause the serum and the substances not separated perfectly from blood cells so that it will cause false low levels of cholesterol, while the long time centrifugation time will also cause hemolysis. Research Objectives : To determine differences of cholesterol levels based on the length of centrifugation time. Research Methods : it was an analytic research with a cross-sectional design and was conducted at the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory of the Medical Laboratory Technology Department of Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. The sample of this research were 30 samples. Data were analyzed using One Way Anova. Research Results : Shows that there was a difference of cholesterol levels based on centrifugation time with p value 0.004 (&lt;ɑ 0.05) with an average value of checking cholesterol levels that in the Sentrifugasi for 5 minutes amounted to 180.90 mg/dL, for 10 minutes at &nbsp;158.73 mg/dL, for 15 minutes amounted to 169.60 mg/dL. Neonatal sepsis is still a major problem in the field of neonatal care and services. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the examination of C-Reactive Protein and the number of leukocytes in neonates with suspected sepsis who were treated at the Abepura Hospital. The population used in this study were all neonates who were treated in the Perinatology room at the Abepura Hospital. The number of samples in this study was 99 patients. The c-reactive protein examination method used is agglutination method and the leukocyte count method used is flow cytometer. This research was carried out for 3 months, starting from January 6 to March 31, 2020. From the C-Reactive Protein examination that has been carried out, positive results were obtained as many as 27 patients (27.27%) and negative as many as 72 patients (72.73%). while for the examination of the leukocyte count, the results obtained were normal leukocyte counts as many as 74 patients (74.75%), low leukocyte counts in 3 patients (3.03) and high leukocyte counts as many as 22 patients (22.22%). This requires students to do Study From Home learning, a learning process that is carried out virtually using communication media such as cellphones, laptops, and tablets. This causes the intensity of using cellphones to become more frequent every time and generally ignores hygiene. Overall the level of bacterial contamination of cell phones is 70% with the pathogenic bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Pseudomonas sp., Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Enterobacter aergene, Escherichia coli, Citrobacter intermedites, and Citrobacter freundii. The purpose of the research was to identify Staphylococcus sp and to know the correlation of Staphylococcus sp. with the personal hygiene level of IIK Bhakti Wiyata Kediri students. The research method is correlation analytic using purposive sampling technique with 16 cell phone swab samples. This research used the culture test on BAP, MSA, NAS and Gram staining as well as a questionnaire to determine the level of personal hygiene. The results of the research identified Staphylococcus aureus by 75% and Staphylococcus epidermidis by 25% and the results of the questionnaire on the level of personal hygiene with a sufficient category of 75%. Based on the source, antioxidants are divided into two groups, they are natural antioxidants and synthetic antioxidants. Seeds guava bol is one of the plants that used in traditional medicine which has the potential as a natural antioxidant. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant activity of the methanol extract of seeds guava bol through the IC<sub>50</sub> value. The method used in this study is the 2,2-Diphenyl-1-Picrylhidrazil (DPPH) method, which is a method of measuring antioxidants that is fast, simple, accurate and inexpensive. The results showed that the IC<sub>50</sub> value was 1.627 ppm. Diabetes Mellitus is a disease characterized by an increase in blood sugar. Compounds contained in langsat leaves that function to lower blood glucose levels are flavonoids. Flavonoids are protective against damage to cells that produce insulin and can restore insulin receptor sensitivity on cells and even increase insulin sensitivity. This study aims to determine the difference in decreasing glucose levels in vitro with the addition of infusion and decoction of langsat leaves. Glucose levels were measured in vitro using a UV-Vis Sfektorfotometer using the Nelson Somoghy method. The results of the phytochemical screening test showed positive flavonoid compounds, alkaloids, tannins and saponins. The results of data analysis using the Independent T test obtained p-value 0.032 &lt; 0.050. The use of synthetic indicators that are not environmentally friendly and difficult to decompose can be replaced with natural indicators, including the use of secang wood extract (Caesalpinia sappan L.) and purple cabbage (Brasicca oleraceae). The research was conducted using a descriptive method which describes the color changes of the modified mannitol salt agar (MSA) media of secang wood and purple cabbage extract after being planted with bacteria. Staphylococcus aureus and Coagulation Negative Staphylococcus (CoNS) bacteria were isolated from acne-prone skin. The growth of Staphylococus aureus changed the color of the modified MSA medium from red to yellow for the secang wood extract and the color change from blue to pink for the purple cabbage extract. The growth of CoNS bacteria changed the color of the modified MSA medium from red to red-orange for the secang wood extract and the color change from blue to blue-purple for the purple cabbage extract. Both bacteria thrived on purple cabbage modified MSA media. The skin has a variety of benefits, namely it can stop bleeding, cure burns, and as an antiseptic. Jengkol skin contains alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and glycosides. The compounds contained in the jengkol bark plant can act as anticancer. The purpose of this study was to determine the toxicity of ethanol extract of jengkol skin (Pithecelleobium jiringa) to shrimp larvae (Artemia salina Leach). The method used was Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). The type of research used is quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the ethanolic extract of jengkol peel (Pithecelleobium jiringa) is toxic so it has the potential for anticancer, as evidenced by calculating the concentration log, the LC50 value is 251 ppm. Nitrogen in the body is also an element that has a very large role in the formation of proteins, which are the main compounds in organisms. All forms of compounds in the body, metabolic waste will be excreted in the form of feces. Feces are expelled from the human body through the anus as waste material from the digestive process of food along the digestive tract system. The purpose of this study was to determine normal levels of nitrogen in feces. The method used in this research is a laboratory experiment. Testing for nitrogen levels is done by checking the nitrogen levels in normal feces (not infected with STH). The results showed that the nitrogen content in the feces of sample A was 0.19%, in sample B the nitrogen content was 0.24%, and the nitrogen content in&nbsp;sample C was 0.25%.
