PENGARUH PEMBERIAN INTERVENSI FISIOTERAPI PADA KONDISI DISMENORE PRIMER DENGAN INTERVENSI STRETCHING DAN NEUROMUSKULAR TAPING TERHADAP PENGURANGAN NYERI PADA REMAJA PUTRI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS DI PEKANBARU
Abstract
Background. Menstrual pain / dysmenorrhea is a gynecological complaint due to an imbalance of the hormone progesterone in the blood resulting in pain. About 20-90% of cases of menstrual pain occur at the age of adolescence and are associated with restrictions on physical activity and absence from school or work.Dismenorrhea also causes learning activities in the learning process to be disrupted, concentration becomes decreased or even absent so that the material given during learning continues can not be captured by young women who are experiencing dysmenorrhea. Therefore dysmenorrhea in adolescents needs attention so that it can be applied appropriately in a non-pharmacological manner. Purpose. This study aims to improve the quality of life through measurement of the value of student pain that experiences primary dysmenorrhea, then physiotherapy interventions that can be given to students who experience primary dysmenorrhea are by giving stretching and neuromuscular taping interventions. Research methods. The research conducted was an experiment with a pre and post test research design. The statistical test used is one sample t-test to determine the effect of variables. Results. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of stretching and neuromuscular taping with a value of p = 0.011 which means <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the effect of pain reduction after stretching and neuromuscular taping interventions are given.
