Adolescents, as the next generation approaches this stage of life, need to have a clear understanding of what it means to be marriage ready. Views and the possibility of changes in outlook on marriage and preparation impact the perception of early marriage. The researchers in this study set out to answer the question, "How do adolescents in Madurese feel about early marriage?" by looking at their attitudes and intentions towards the practice. A cross-sectional study is what this is. Simple random sampling is the method used for the sampling process. The number of participants in the study was 79. A survey on the attitudes and intentions of teenagers about early marriage and marriage at a young age served as the study tool. All respondents were required to sign an informed consent document before they could get the questionnaire. Chi square was the method of choice for analyzing the data.
Yessy Nur Endah Sary

Background: Early marriage remains a significant challenge in developing countries, including Indonesia, which ranks fourth globally in child marriage cases. According to UNICEF (2023), there are 25.53 million child marriage cases in Indonesia. In 2022, the rate of early marriage in Bangkalan, Madura, continued to show an increasing trend, with an annual rise of 1.71%. The Marriage Age Maturity Program (PUP) aims to increase the minimum age of marriage to 21 years for women and 25 years for men. Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge of marriage maturity and adolescent attitudes toward early marriage. Methods: This research uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 10th- and 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Kamal, with a sample size of 183 respondents selected through cluster random sampling. The independent variable is knowledge of marriage maturity, while the dependent variable is adolescents' attitudes toward early marriage. A questionnaire was used as the instrument, and data analysis was performed using the Spearman rank test. Results: The study shows that most respondents (72.7%) have good knowledge about marriage maturity. Respondents with good knowledge tend to have a positive attitude or do not support early marriage (90%). The Spearman rank test revealed a p-value of <0.001 (<0.005), indicating a significant relationship between knowledge of marriage age maturity and adolescents' attitudes toward early marriage, with a low correlation level (r = 0.312). Recommendations: It is recommended that schools, particularly counseling services, conduct educational sessions on the importance of marriage age maturity to enhance adolescents' knowledge and prevent early marriage.
Cindy Fatika Salsabila, Andriyanti Andriyanti, Nining Febriyana, Lilik Djuari

Adolescence is a period of identity exploration and the urge to explore something new, often accompanied by deep curiosity. Free association during adolescence can have significant negative impacts, both in terms of health and psychology, especially among adolescents themselves. Premarital sexual activity refers to any form of sexual drive that is influenced by the urge to have intimate relationships that occur before marriage, either according to religious rules or legal provisions. The purpose of this study was to identify factors that influence premarital sexual behavior in grade XI students at MAN 1 Bekasi. The method used in this study uses a quantitative analytical method with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 190 respondents who were randomly selected using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was carried out using a univariate and bivariate analysis approach using the chi-square statistical test. The results of the bivariate analysis indicated a significant relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.000), attitude (p-value = 0.001), information sources (p-value = 0.008), parental role (p-value = 0.000), and peer influence (p-value = 0.008) with premarital sexual behavior in grade XI students at MAN 1 Bekasi in 2024. In conclusion, there needs to be an effort from the school to conduct socialization and education involving health workers about the dangers of premarital sexual behavior among students. And can support and help students to behave positively in accordance with existing norms.
Rohani Siregar, Agustin S, Hartini Hartini

ABSTRACT

Community habits can influence mothers' actions in providing MP-ASI before the baby is given MP-ASI. Apart from that, according to the mother, a crying baby shows that the baby is still hungry, so additional food must be given. This is one of the failures in providing exclusive breastfeeding to babies before they are more than 6 months old. Giving MP-ASI too early has short-term and long-term impacts. According to WHO, babies who receive complementary foods before the age of 6 months are 17 times more likely to experience diarrhea and 3 times more likely to develop upper respiratory tract infections (ARI) than babies who are exclusively breastfed and receive MP-ASI on time. The method used in this research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The data used in this study is primary data obtained directly by distributing questionnaires to respondents. This research was conducted in the working area of the Payung Sekaki Community Health Center, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The sample in this study was mothers who had babies aged 6-24 months with a total sample of 163 people. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of family support and cultural traditions on the accuracy of giving MP-ASI. The research results show that there is a relationship between family support and family traditions on the accuracy of providing MP-ASI with a P value <0.005. This shows that the provision of complementary foods is influenced by family support and cultural traditions.

Dewi Sartika Siagian, Herliana Riska, Fania Nurul Khoirunnisa, Nasri Devi

The number of births via Caesarean section continues to rise worldwide. Caesarean births have a five-fold higher risk of complications compared to normal births. One of the problems that arise after a Caesarean section is severe pain in the surgical wound. Post-Caesarean pain management can be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. Non-pharmacological methods include deep breathing relaxation and classical music. These two techniques are able to significantly reduce pain intensity. This study aims to compare between relaxation techniques and classical music therapy in an effort to reduce pain levels in patients undergoing Caesarean section at Permata Hati Duri Hospital. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test research design. The sample size in the study was 74 respondents, divided into 37 respondents using deep breathing relaxation techniques and 37 respondents using classical music techniques. Sample selection was done using purposive sampling. The research instrument used the Wong-Baker face rating scale with a scale of 0-10. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test, while to compare between the two techniques, the Mann-Whitney test was used. The results showed that there was a difference in pain scale between before and after the intervention, both using deep breathing relaxation techniques and using classical music with a P-value of 0.000. To see the difference in the decrease in pain scale using deep breathing relaxation techniques or using classical music, the results showed that there was no difference in the decrease in pain scale after therapy using deep breathing relaxation techniques and classical music in post-Caesarean section patients. It is hoped that deep breathing relaxation techniques and classical music can be an effective approach to alleviate pain in mothers after Caesarean section
Linda Suryani, Husna Farianti Amran

Perineal rupture is defined as a tear that occurs when the baby is born, either spontaneously or with an instrument or action (1). In 2017 in Indonesia, 75% of mothers who gave birth vaginally experienced perineal tears/perineal rupture. It was found that of a total of 1951 mothers who gave birth spontaneously vaginally, 57% of mothers received perineal stitches, namely 28% due to episiotomy and 29% due to spontaneous tearing (2). Every mother who undergoes labor and experiences perineal rupture will feel pain, and one effort to reduce pain in perineal wounds is by providing classical music. Music can help someone become more relaxed, reduce stress, create a sense of security and prosperity, relieve sadness, make them happy, and help and relieve pain.

PMB Murtinawita is one of the midwife clinics that provides care during the postpartum period. From the results of observations, around 50% of deliveries were carried out by episiotomy and 30% rupture occurred due to spontaneous tearing. The aim of this research is to create a music therapy design for perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers at the Murtinawita Independent Midwife Practice in 2023. This research design uses research and development (R&D), which is a research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of certain products. The population in this study was 28 postpartum mothers with perineal wounds at the Independent Midwife Murtinawita Pekanbaru Practice. Data analysis in this research is univariate analysis.Data statistics show that the interpretation of all components is 100% good/satisfactory. From the Attractiveness, Stimulation and Dependability components, the value is very good/extraordinary, this is because the music therapy used in this study is relaxation music, where relaxation music is music with various artistic styles that plays slowly. like natural sounds that create relaxation and optimism. So it can be concluded that the music therapy carried out brought positive results for postpartum mothers with perineal wound pain. It is hoped that this music therapy design can be given to postpartum mothers with perineal wound pain so that it can help reduce pain in perineal wounds.
Octa Dwienda Ristica, Rita Afni

As part of their training to provide family planning services, midwife students should be able to insert and remove sub cutaneous contraceptive implant. One method of long-term birth control is the use of a contraceptive implant, which releases levonogestrel over time. Placing this 3–4 cm long and 0.2 cm wide silicone capsule beneath the skin on the inside of the upper arm is one method of preventing pregnancy. Students use a foam-coated- rubber upper arm model for hands-on practice inserting and removing contraceptive implants in the lab. Because this phantom is missing an upper arm, students have a harder time pinpointing the precise spot to put a contraceptive implant. This project aims to construct a comprehensive arm phantom that can assess the layers of skin and muscle for the purpose of placing contraceptive implants. This research is an research and development study. The research was carried out for 9 months from January to September 2024. To analyse the data, we first used a Likert scale to quantify the qualitative evaluations, then averaged the scores, and finally returned to the qualitative values. In order to determine if it was feasible, we compared the respondents' evaluation ratings to the ideal scores. With a mean score of 6.46 (range: 6.15-7.00), respondents highly agreed that the instrument is feasible to use, according to the data. The product's viability was determined to be 91.76%.
Back pain in pregnant women is an uncomfortable response that is often felt by pregnant women. Usually back pain will start to appear when the pregnancy reaches 7 months. In fact, back pain is a normal thing to happen, but if back pain is not treated then it can interfere with daily activities or activities so that activities become hampered due to difficulties. One way that can be done to reduce back pain is pregnancy yoga. This application aims to determine the success in reducing back pain complaints. The application of pregnancy yoga was carried out with a pre-test and post-test using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) measuring instrument. The pain scale was measured before and after applying pregnancy yoga. Based on the results of the application of pregnancy yoga, it was found that at the beginning of application the mother's pain scale was 6 (moderate pain) and after application it reduced to 4 (moderate pain). So it can be concluded that pregnancy yoga has an effect on reducing back pain if done well and correctly.
Siti Sopiatun, Aisyah Hanan Solehah

Basic Midwifery Skills Practicum is a basic skill that must be mastered by health workers, especially midwives and nurses, such as installing IV drips. Infusion phantoms have been widely circulated in Indonesia with the same feature, namely only for administering infusions, so that when they go directly to patients. For this reason, researchers want to develop a device for infusion installation that is accompanied by the feature of blood vessels bursting and swelling when injecting too deeply. Apart from that, researchers also added a training feature to intra-cutaneous injection. Research Objective: to develop a simple infusion examination tool equipped with features for intra-cutaneous injection practice. Method: This research is a development study that produces a product using the One Shot Case Study method. The study was conducted at the Midwifery Laboratory of Poltekkes Kemenkes Sorong for 7 months, from April 1 to October 1, 2024. Results: Of the 35 respondents (Lecturer and Cilinical Instructor) who took part in the field trial, the total questionnaire score obtained was 6,758 with an ideal maximum total score of 7,350. The eligibility percentage obtained was 92%. Conclusion: A simple infusion installation trainer is very suitable for use as a tool for administering infusions in a laboratory equipped with an intra-cutaneous injection feature.
