EFEKTIVITAS TERAPI BERMAIN BERCERITA TERHADAP TINGKAT KECEMASAN HOSPITALISASI ANAK USIA PRA SEKOLAH

ABSTRACT
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of pre-school age children in Indonesia is 77% of the total population of Indonesia, and it is estimated that 3/100 children are hospitalized, 45% of whom experience anxiety due to hospitalization. The initial study conducted estimated the number of children being cared for at 860, 160 pre-school age children. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of storytelling play therapy on the level of hospitalization anxiety in pre-school children in the Children's Inpatient Room. The design of this research is pre-experimental with a one group pretest - posttest design approach. The population in this study were all children hospitalized in the Children's Inpatient Room. The sampling technique in this research used accidental sampling, with a total research sample of 10 people. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets. The research results showed that of the 10 respondents (60%) respondents had severe hospitalization anxiety before being given treatment, and (40%) respondents had mild hospitalization anxiety after being given treatment. The results of data analysis using the paired t test obtained a p value = 0.000. The conclusion of this research is that storytelling play therapy is effective in reducing the anxiety level of pre-school children. It is hoped that for nursing practice, the results of this research can become a source of information in efforts to improve health services, especially for children due to hospitalization. Recommendations for future researchers are expected to be able to see the differences in levels of hospitalization anxiety between those who have been treated before and who have never been treated

ABSTRAK
Menurut Depertemen Kesehatan jumlah anak usia pra sekolah di Indonesia sebesar 77% dari jumlah total penduduk Indonesia, dan diperkirakan 3/100 anak menjalani hospitalisasi, 45% diantaranya mengalami kecemasan akibat hospitalisasi. Studi awal yang dilakukan jumlah anak yang dirawat diperkirakan 860 orang anak, 160 anak usia pra sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti efektivitas terapi bermain becerita terhadap tingkat kecemasan hospitalisasi pada anak usia pra sekolah Diruang Rawat Inap Anak. Desain penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest – posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua anak yang hospitalisasi di Ruang Rawat Inap Anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan accidental sampling, dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 10 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 responden (60%)responden memiliki kecemasan hospitalisasi berat sebelum diberikan perlakuan,dan (40%)responden memiliki kecemasan hospitalisasi ringan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil analisa data dengan menggunakan uji t berpasangan didapatkannilai p = 0,000, Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terapi bermain bercerita efektif terhadap penurunan tingkat kecemasan anak usia pra sekolah. Diharapkan kepada praktek keperawatan, agar hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi sumber informasi dalam upaya meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan khususnya pada anak akibat hospitalisasi. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melihat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan hospitalisasi yang pernah dirawat sebelumnya atau tidak pernah dirawat.
