IDENTIFIKASI JENIS-JENIS KERUSAKAN JALAN (PERKERASAN LENTUR) STUDI KASUS JALAN LINTAS TALUK KUANTAN – BATAS PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT
Abstract
Taluk Kuantan road - the boundary of West Sumatra Province is one of the alternative roads that can connect three provinces, namely Riau Province, West Sumatra Province and Jambi Province. This road is a national road (middle alley) with a high number of LHR, causing damage to the road body. This study aims to assess the level of damage to the flexible pavement layer to determine the type and level of damage that occurred and determine the appropriate type of treatment. The method used is the Asphalt Institute method, to determine the road pavement condition rating (PCR). The types of damage contained in this road include Ambles 2.303%, slurry 1.499%, longitudinal crack 0.395%, crocodile skin crack 0.312%, beam crack 0.297%, curved crack 0.149%, edge crack 1.379%, loose grain 0.120%, obesity 0.043 %, wear / slippery aggregate 2,397%, exfoliated 0.126%, holes 0.030%. The percentage of total road damage along the research location is 9.05%, the index value of road damage conditions according to the Asphalt Institute method is 90.95%. So that routine maintenance is needed such as filling cracks, closing holes (patching)
