EDUKASI PENINGKATAN KESADARAN REMAJA MENGENAI DAMPAK DARI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL DI SMAN 1 SUSUT

Abstrak

Currently in Indonesia, social media is increasingly being used, with a percentage of 75.50% of the total social media users in Indonesia, making teenagers occupy a high position. Bali is one of the provinces that is densely populated and also social media becomes a link between individuals more easily, especially the Bangli area. However, of the many positive impacts given, of course there are negative impacts. Misuse of social media makes social media have a negative image among the public, such as receiving wrong information to addiction in using social media. So that additional knowledge is needed to be able to use social media properly and wisely in accordance with initial expectations. The method used is to observe the location to analyze problems that are issues in the community, prepare a literature review and then provide education and continue with an evaluation of understanding. Providing education represented by students at SMA Negeri 1 Susut, with wise material in using social media. The purpose of community service activities is to provide awareness of the impact provided by social media and is reinforced by the results of evaluating student understanding which is quite good after providing education, it is hoped that students will be able to be more critical in receiving information, also able to provide further education to the wider community, especially in Sulahan Village .
