Abstrak

Lip tint adalah salah satu sediaan kosmetik bibir  yang berbentuk cair yang digunakan untuk mewarnai bibir dengan warna yang natural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari pemberian zat warna alami kayu secang (Caesalpinia Sappan L) dan umbi buah bit (Beta Vulgaris L) terhada evaluasi sediaan dari segi homogenitas, uji pH (SNI No 16-4769-1998), uji daya oles, uji iritasi & kesukaan, dan uji stabilitas. Sediaan lip tint dibuat menjadi tiga konsentrasi yaitu dengan perbandingan kayu secang dan umbi buah bit pada masing-masing formula yaitu berturut-turut F1 (25%: 25%), F2 (35%:15%), F3 (10%:40%). Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan sediaan lip tint yang tidak homogen pada F1 dan F2, mempunyai daya oles yang baik pada ketiga formula, tidak mengiritasi kulit, dan pH yang didapatkan tidak memenuhi syarat uji pH, dan F2 merupakan sediaan yang banyak disukai panelis, sedangkan pada uji stabilitas pada minggu ke 2 semua formula menunjukkan perubahan warna dan konsistensi yang menandakan sediaan sudah tidak stabil.
