ABSTRAK

Prevelensi stroke menrut data World Stroke Organization tahun 2017 adalah 1 dari 6 orang akan berpotensiakan terserang stroke. Prevalensi penderita stroke di Indonesia meningkat dari 8,3 per 1.000 populasi penduduk pada tahun 2007 menjadi 12,1 per 1.000 populasi penduduk pada tahun 2013 (Riset Kesehatan Dasar, 2013). Semakin meningkatnya angka kejadian stroke di Indonesia membutuhkan suatu cara deteksi dini sebagai sebuah peringatan dan perhatian bagi masyarakat yang memiliki faktor risiko terserang stroke tergolong ke dalam kelas tinggi. Sehingga tujuan kegiatan ini adalah  untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran melalui deteksi dini dengan menggunakan parameter deteksi dini stroke. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pembekalan kemampuan deteksi dini dan asesmen stroke ini adalah dengan melakukan pemberdayaan peran masyarakat Kecamatan Cikulur dengan membentuk KOMTAS (Komunitas Tanggap Stroke) yang dapat memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai tindakan-tindakan pencegahan stroke serta tindakan pertolongan pertama ketika terjadi stroke dan mengurangi resiko kecacatan pada insan pasca stroke. Hasil yang dicapai dari program ini adalah dapat mengurangi resiko stroke atau keparahan derajat stroke di Kecamatan Cikulur.

ABSTRACT

The prevalence of stroke for data from the World Stroke Organization in 2017 is 1 in 6 people will be considered to have a stroke. The prevalence of stroke patients in Indonesia increased from 8.3 per 1,000 population in 2007 to 12.1 per 1,000 population in 2013 (Riset Kesehatan Dasar, 2013). The more numbers of stroke events in Indonesia need early detection methods as the attention and attention of people who have risk factors for stroke classified as high class. Related to the purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge, awareness through early detection by using early detection parameters of stroke. The method for carrying out early detection and stroke assessment is to empower the community's role in the District of Cikulur by forming KOMTAS (Stroke Response Community) which can provide education to the public regarding corrective actions and handling of first aid in the completion of stroke and help with disability in post-stroke human beings. . The results approved from this program can reduce the risk of stroke or the severity of the degree of stroke in Cikulur District.
