RESERVASI TIKET TRAVEL DENGAN VELOTOW BERBASIS E-SERVICE DALAM PENINGKATAN PELAYANAN TRANSPORTASI PADA MASA PANDEMI

Abstrak

In improving services during the pandemic, PT. Digital Trans Gemilang is expanding through the E-Service digitalization process in reservation and land transportation E-Ticketing services to customers/consumers. The digitization of ticket reservations and travel services is designed on a website basis under the name Velotow. The research method used in designing an E-Service-based Velotow ticket reservation information system is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) where SDLC has a research framework that is in accordance with the information system to be designed. The velotow information system also uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to facilitate the process of data flow and E-Service-based ticket reservation information. Meanwhile, Velotow is a Marketplace application for selling land transportation tickets online using a web-based digital platform where Velotow serves consumer E-Ticketing reservations with several fleets that are members of the velotow serving the Riau - West Sumatra route. Velotow is designed with the Laravel framework based on PHP and MySQL with the concept of a friendly user interface with the aim of making it easier for customers/consumers in the travel ticket reservation process. This research produces a product in the form of the velotow.com web application which is an electronic travel ticket reservation marketplace that connects travel agents and prospective customers. This e-service in ticket reservations helps fleets and agents in the Provinces of Riau and West Sumatra in marketing land transportation services. and Through the velotow application, it is able to increase the source of income for traveling fleets even during a pandemic.
